DOWA ECO-SYSTEM Signs an Agreement regarding the Promotion of a Fluorocarbon Destruction Demonstration Project in Thailand

On December 18, DOWA ECO-SYSTEM CO., LTD.’s Thai subsidiary BANGPOO ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLEX CO., LTD. (BPEC) signed an agreement regarding the promotion of a demonstration project for fluorocarbon destruction with the Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand.

With the support of the Ministry of the Environment, DOWA ECO-SYSTEM is promoting a fluorocarbon destruction process in Thailand that uses BPEC’s incineration and thermal energy recovery facilities. The Thai government supports the intentions of the project and, as a consequence, has agreed to provide cooperation.

A signing ceremony was held to mark the agreement; BPEC invited refrigerant manufacturers and other customers, and representatives from the Ministry of Industry and other government offices, and a variety of members of the media, also attended. A tour of BPEC’s facilities took place, too.

Going forward, DOWA ECO-SYSTEM will continue to promote the strengthening of its environmental and recycling services—which include the appropriate processing of waste, recycling, and climate change countermeasures—with the aim of contributing to the establishment of a sustainable society.
