Koden-chan Attends a Japan Mining Industry Association Event
On August 5, 2019, DOWA ECO-SYSTEM CO., LTD.’s “Koden-chan” attended a Japan Mining Industry Association event.
The Japan Mining Industry Association operates a permanent display booth named “Metal Factory” at the Science Museum in Tokyo’s Chiyoda-ku, where it exhibits a variety of objects, including everyday items that make use of non-ferrous metals and ore specimens.
The Japan Mining Industry Association held a Silver Mirror Test Class for children at the Science Museum on August 5; Coppy the Kappa, the JX Nippon Mining & Metals Corporation Mascot Character, and Koden-chan, DOWA ECO-SYSTEM’s character with a focus on recycling education for used small electrical appliances, attended the event.
Koden-chan was able to connect with many children, some of whom even said: “I’m going to come back to the Science Museum to see Koden-chan again!”
