PPLi participated in the international symposium “Research Expansion of Growth of Global Environmental Studies in South East Asia”

PT Prasadha Pamunah Limbah Industri (PPLi) (West Java, the Republic of Indonesia) participated in the international symposium entitled “Research Expansion of Growth of Global Environmental Studies in South East Asia”, in Bogor, Indonesia, which was held from November 30 – December 2, 2018, organized by Kyoto University and Bogor Agricultural University (Institut Pertanian Bogor, IPB).


The symposium shared the most recent information and educational collaboration between Asian and Western country by plenary session and panel discussion. The conference offered several sessions on international collaborative educational and research projects in the field of Environmental Engineering, Eco-tourism research, and practical experience of environmental-related industries and industry-university cooperation.

PPLi, which our subsidiary company in Indonesia, took part in the parallel session II, Sub-session 3 on November 30, to deliver information about the achievements and technologies over 20years of PPLi’s integrated waste treatment services in Indonesia. This session is hoped to increase collaboration between Japanese companies in research, development and business activities to give adverse effects due to serious environmental problem in Indonesia.

Moreover, study tour was conducted on the last day of the symposium, 2 December, to visit environmental protection facilities, PPLi Integrated Waste Management Services Facilities, in Bogor. The tour was attended by 32 participants from Kyoto University and IPB.


To help solve or prevent environmental problems in Asia, which is expected to continue growing in the future, our company will strive to collect and disseminate a variety of information through exhibiting at these kinds of events, as well.
