BIODIESEL OKAYAMA Cooperates in Environmental Event and Hosts Plant Tour

From July 21 to the 30th, 2019, BIODIESEL OKAYAMA CO., LTD. (Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture) assisted in creating an exhibit at the 10th Domestic Event for Citizens on Eco-Life and Eco-Technology sponsored by Okayama University, and hosted people from neighborhood associations and students from high schools in the nearby communities for a plant tour.

The biodiesel fuel being produced by BIODIESEL OKAYAMA is a recycled product that uses waste edible oils, which are familiar to everyone, as raw materials. In the exhibit and plant tour, visitors learned that waste edible oils are not garbage but a usable resource, while having fun playing a game that compares the deterioration status of waste edible oils.

The DOWA Group highly values these communication opportunities to help as many people as possible learn not only about the Group’s environmental management and recycling business but about the environmental conservation steps each of us can actually take, as well.
